Tenugui Hand Towel Gift Envelope

We’ve transformed a tenugui hand towel into an envelope by adding decorative cord known as mizuhiki. Wrapped around an envelope, the color of the mizuhiki and type of knot used indicate different occasions, and whether you want them to happen again. There is a fascinating level of detail in Japanese gift-giving.

Once you’ve used it as an envelope, you can continue to use it as a hand towel, making it a practical gift as well.
The set includes one inner envelope and three insert cards with “Congratulations,” “Wedding Congratulations,” and a plain design.
