Personally carved by a craftsman, the Kokeshi Doll hanko and the stand it comes with are both hand-painted by an artisan. Keep it by the door to sign for packages, or by your desk for more important affairs. Either way, it is sure to be a cute companion!

    Receive a Hanko Registration form with your order, which will allow you to complete your hanko registration with the World Hanko Registration Center. This will make you eligible to receive Hanko Verification Certificates.

    We can give you a print-quality file with full copyrights so you can make your own branding, watermarks for social media posts, and e-mail signatures

  • Gift Wrapping

    We can include a special cloth pouch to serve as gift-wrapping for small items.

  • Carving Options

    Most of our Hanko are precision-carved by a specialized machine to ensure an exact carving; you can opt to get your design hand-carved by a local artisan for a truly unique, bespoke hanko, including a signed certificate of craftsmanship. Please note that selecting this option will add a week to production time and we will not be able to provide a design proof or digital design copy.

  • Cleaning Kit + Stamp Mat Set

    Cleaning kit keeps your hanko in tip top shape, and stamping mat ensures a firm, even impression every time.

  • Hanko Options

    *Seal Size

    Choose the diameter of your hanko. Check here for more information on Hanko sizes for various uses.

  • *Seal Style

    Choose from the six lettering styles for your seal. Below are examples of the same name written in English, Katakana and Kanji/Ateji for each style. Click here for more information.

    *Text Orientation

    Your seal can either be written vertically, or horizontally.

    *Seal Characters

    Enter the name you want on your seal. Can be English, Katakana or Kanji. Click here for more information.

    *Character Set

    For any official seal, the characters must match whatever is on your foreign resident card or a legal alias. If you want to make a special request such as using hiragana or mixing character sets, just tell us in your notes at checkout.

    If you aren't sure how to write your name in Japanese, we can help! Write your name in the text field above and check "FREE CONSULTATION," and we'll contact you via e-mail to make sure your name is accurately transcribed in either Katakana or Kanji.

    We offer a free design proof via e-mail, so you can see the mark your hanko will make. We will revise the design once if there is something wrong with it. Please note that this may delay shipping, as we will wait for your response before carving.

Description

This hanko is designed to look like a kokeshi doll, a famous handcraft from Matsushima in Miyagi Prefecture. It it handmade and hand-painted as a tiny kokeshi doll first, then we will engrave your custom name stamp on it. Comes with a desktop holder for you to keep your kokeshi on display while you work.

Comes packaged in a gift box, in custom-cut foam padding.
