Description

This is a long set of lacquered chopsticks, beautiful and practical. Can be used to eat or serve delicious food.

The bubbly motif is produced through a special technique called Tsugaru Nanako-nuri, where rapeseed is sprinkled over the chopsticks during the lacquering process. When the seeds are later scraped off, the circular impressions are left, producing its signature motif.

The pattern is sometimes said to resemble fish roe.
